Background
I build and operate production systems across software engineering, infrastructure, automation, and observability.
My software background includes Go and Python backend services, REST APIs, containerized applications, CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, and production monitoring. I've deployed services on Linux using Docker, Kubernetes, NGINX, and AWS, and built monitoring and logging platforms using technologies including Splunk and WebSockets.
I currently work as an Automation System Operator supporting a large-scale robotic material handling system. My responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting robotic vehicles, production cells, lifts, buffers, and system interfaces; analyzing operational and diagnostic data; coordinating cell operators; and working with software engineers and technical teams to resolve production-impacting issues. This experience has expanded my focus from building software to understanding how complex software-driven systems behave in live production environments.
I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science & Software Engineering from The Evergreen State College in December 2024.
I'm interested in software engineering, systems engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, and automation roles where I can combine software development with hands-on production systems experience.
